Balsamic Berries

Dessert doesn't have to be hard; even when incorporating balsamic. We had these berries last night and they were delicious and best of all, super simple! We got all of the ingredients ready and set in on the stove while we prepared dinner.

1/2 Cup of your favorite Dove Balsamic (We used Blueberry)

3/4 Cup of water

1/4 Cup of white sugar

1 Cup of berries of your choice.

Stir together the balsamic, water, and sugar over low heat until sugar is completely dissolved. Add berries in and let the berries sit on VERY low heat for about 30-45 minutes. If your heat is too high, the balsamic will burn to the bottom of your sauce pan.

Serve by themselves, with whipped cream, over ice cream, or any dessert of choice. 

We even drizzled some on our prosciutto sandwiches we had for dinner. The combination of the salty, savory prosciutto and sweet, balsamic berries was divine!
