If you haven’t yet added vinegar to a pork roast, you don’t know what you’re missing. Using Dove Violet Balsamic Vinegar adds that little bit something special to make this a family favorite.
Using our Dove Violet Balsamic, which is one half of our May Featured Flavors, your family will enjoy this dish.
Violet Slow Cooker Pork Roast
- Boneless pork loin
- Tbsp. of Garlic
- Tbsp of Thyme
- 2 Tbsp of fresh Rosemary
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup Dove Violet Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 Bay Leaves
- Put the pork and carrots in the slow cooker. Add all the ingredients together and mix well, then coat the roast and carrots.
- Cook in slow cooker for 2-4 hours on HIGH or 6-7 hours on low. (Just a little tip- pork will continue cooking while sitting, so use a meat thermometer and let the meat rest for just a bit before serving.)
- Once the meat is done, if you want to simmer the sauce down a bit, feel free to.
The carrots are very vinegary, so you may want to add some more honey to them.
