Grilled Speck-Wrapped Asparagus
Trying to soak up every bit of the summer season? We think the best way is to grill something delicious while you still can!
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
- 1/2 lb speck, thinly sliced
- Dove Tuscan Herb Olive Oil
- Freshly ground sea salt and black pepper
Cut speck in half lengthwise.
Beginning below spear tip begin wrapping speck around stalk.
Squeeze to adhere speck to asparagus.
Repeat with remaining stalks.
Drizzle with EVOO and season with salt and pepper.
Brush or spray grill grate with EVOO.
Cook asparagus for about 5 min, turning once.
Remove to serving dish and enjoy.
